With five GRAMMY Awards and a Global Globe nomination, Kuk Harrell has made his mark on modern pop music. The famed music producer, songwriter and vocal producer has collaborated with industry greats including Rihanna, Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Usher, Justin Bieber, Celine Dion, Shakira, Jessie J, Lorde, Chris Brown, Lionel Richie and Katy Perry.

In 2007, Harrell's composition and production talents on Rihanna’s record- breaking hit “Umbrella” earned him a GRAMMY Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. This opened the door for several other nominations and awards, including a 2008 GRAMMY for Best Contemporary R&B Record for his work with Mary J. Blige on "Growing Pains", a 2010 GRAMMY for Song of the Year for Beyoncé’s "Single Ladies," a 2010 Golden Globe nomination for Best Song in a Motion Picture-Drama with “I See You”, the theme song in the James Cameron-directed film, Avatar, a 2011 GRAMMY for Best Dance Recording for Rihanna’s "Only Girl (In the World)”, a 2014 GRAMMY for Best Urban Contemporary Album for Rihanna’s Unapologetic, and 6 GRAMMY nominations for Rihanna’s album ANTI in 2017.

Harrell was the sole co-producer with the a cappella group Pentatonix on their multi-platinum self-titled album, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 charts in 2015. He has continued to collaborate with Rihanna across all of her releases, including her eighth studio album ANTI, one of the best-selling digital albums in 2016.

Harrell has actively progressed in the film/TV area, serving as the vocal producer for the cast of Sony Pictures’ feature film Annie (2014), working with Jessie J on songs for Universal Pictures’ feature film Pitch Perfect 2 (2015), Paramount Pictures’ TV special Grease Live! (2016) and 20th Century Fox’s feature film Ice Age: Collision Course (2016), and with Rihanna on several songs for the successful DreamWorks feature filmHome (2015). He recently collaborated with members from the cast of the new Fox’s TV series Star for music in the series and on the Season 1 Original soundtrack.

Harrell has launched a partnership with Kobalt Music Group, actively signing writers, producers and artists through his Suga Wuga Music imprint.
